Filming your Baptism

All Church of England services are Copyright and so it is necessary to complete a Video Agreement Form for every recording device being used.

To request permission to film a Baptism, please complete the following form.

    Video Agreement Form

In completing this form, I agree to the following terms and conditions

1          In order to video a service, those videoing:

    • must have the express permission of those involved in the service
    • must have filled in a Video Copyright Form as supplied by the parish

2          Before the start of the service, video camera operators must agree a fixed position from which to film.
3          All video camera operators must be stationary during the service.
4          It is the responsibility of those taking a video to make sure that they have permission to reproduce copyright material (e.g. music not covered by a Church Copyright Licence).
5          The vergers are responsible for making sure that the above is carried out. Those using a video camera must follow the verger’s instructions.
6          The Parish of Berkswich retain the right to stop people videoing if any of the above rules are not complied with.
7          Video operators will be allowed to record the signing of the registers but they should endeavour not to record the registers themselves.
