The Mothers’ Union is an
organisation of over 3.6 million women and men living in 77 countries who
believe in the importance of families.
As well as encouraging and supporting families and marriage, members work
to reach out as God’s family to those who are isolated, in trouble, or in need

Following on from our very successful afternoon tea in August, we have been able to donate £164 to the Mothers’ Union Relief Fund and spend an amazing £161 on items of underwear and socks for the Stafford Women’s Refuge. The photograph shows some of our members holding up a few of the items purchased. Thank you to everyone who gave their support for both of these very worthwhile causes.
Our next meeting will be on the 29 October when Beryl Metcalf, our Archdeaconry Vice-President, will be giving a talk on the “Commercialisation of Childhood”. We would like to welcome new members to the group. If you are interested in joining us please drop-in – you will be given a warm welcome. The next Mothers’ Union Communion Service will be
